Tanya brings with her 25 years of financial & corporate accounting experience. The first 10 years, while she was working academically to obtain her accounting designation, she started her career overseeing the office functions of a large family ran grocery store, and then moved on to a controller position with the John Deere dealership based out of Estevan, overseeing the accounting functions of their 2 stores. In 2005, Enbridge Pipelines Sask Inc offered her an accounting position in their Estevan Head Office. Over the course of the next 15 years, she not only expanded her corporate accounting knowledge and skillset, but also gained a extensive knowledge of the oil & gas industry specifically from the operating pipeline perspective. Her knowledge, dedication and hard work allowed her to advance in her role, eventually moving up to the role of Supervisor, overseeing the regional financial and oil accounting groups. Seeking to expand her knowledge and welcome new opportunities & challenges, Tanya decided it was time to make a change and made the move to Pro Canada West – where she is looking forward to learning another side of the industry & putting her accounting skills to work for a private enterprise.
